Morning Rotary is conducting its annual fundraiser by selling Kerr County Pecans for $13.00 per one lb. bag are 2/$25.00. The net proceeds are being used to fund a non-traditional scholarship, a Clothes Locker program at Ingram High School for needy students, a Christmas Box program and dictionaries for a local elementary school to name a few of the Club's service projects. The pecans will be available around November 1 for purchase. They are a great snack (healthy), good for Holiday baking and a very nice Christmas gift for neighbors and friends. Please call or email any Morning Rotarian via our website, www.kerrvillemorningrotary.org Pecans are also available at the following businesses: Kerr County Abstract & Title Company located at 712 Earl Garrett. Open 9-4 pm M-F.

Married to Assistant Chief Curtis Thomason for 16 years and raising 2 amazing boys, Colin 7 and Preston 6. Brad joins the talented Chamber staff of Angela North, Director of Membership; Pilar Gregory, Customer Service Specialist; and Autumn Bernhard, Marketing and Events Coordinator.
Brad has more than 20 years of business and chamber experience and most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Tourism and Facilities at the Midland Chamber of Commerce for the past nine years.
"I am excited to join the team," Brad said. "My family and I are honored by the opportunity to join such a vibrant and welcoming community."
The Chamber board approved the selection at its October 2020 monthly meeting.
"We had over eighty candidates apply for this coveted position," said Tim Rye, Past Board Chair. "We are excited about Barnett joining our already successful Chamber and working to serve the needs of our local business and dedicated staff."

Scott was raised in Kingwood, TX. In 2001 he graduated from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine and promptly moved to the Kerrville area where he joined the Town and Country Animal Hospital family. He became a partner in the practice in 2004. Scott is a resident of Hunt, TX with his wife, four sons, and a daughter. He is an avid hunter and fisherman as well as an active member of the community. Scott attends Notre Dame Catholic Church and is an Assistant Scout Master in BSA Troop 111. He is a Grand Knight and Fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and President of the Kerr County Texas A&M Club. |
