Kerrville Morning Rotary Supports Families & Literacy, Inc.

Kerrville Morning Rotary presented a $1,100 check to Families & Literacy, Inc. for use in purchasing curriculum.

"Morning Rotary is pleased to support Families & Literacy, Inc.’s adult literacy program. The work done by the organization’s volunteer instructors, staff, and board is exemplary," said Mike Hunter, Morning Rotary President.

Families & Literacy, Inc., a nonprofit adult education organization, offers classes for adults to work toward completing their GED certification. English as a second language classes are also offered to adults with the goal of improving their lives and the lives of their families by gaining reading, writing, and speaking skills.

"Families & Literacy appreciates the continued financial support of the Kerrville Morning Rotary as we educate Hill Country adults to be active contributors in the life of the community," said BK Gamble, Board President for Families & Literacy, Inc.
